More interesting news from the Captain's Quarters. Apparently, French officials visited Gitmo to determine if their citizens were being held there; since then,
[T]hey have held all of them since, implicit recognition of the potential threat they posed.Of course, Gitmo has been found to be illegal by French courts. But, with an eye to history, I've always found the French stance a bit hypocritical, as a simple examination of their history in Algeria and Vietnam will show.
