Why Liberal Loons May be an Endangered Species...

A "green think tank" has released a report claiming that having multiple kids is an environmental "misdemeanor" on par with things like long-haul flights. Furthermore, such concerns should be factored in to parents family planning and no couple should have more than two kids.

I find this to be something of a mixed bag: on the one hand, if anyone takes this seriously in Europe or the world, it'll be the loons. And trust me, I'd love nothing more than to see them have fewer kids. In fact, many already do - the Democratic Party here is endangered in the long run as they eschew procreation while red-staters are simply pumping out future members of the Young Republicans.

Yet the ones who won't listen in Europe will be the ones of whom we already have far too many: Muslim immigrants with large families who are not only producing a horrific strain on an already overtaxed welfare system but whose children are increasingly being given anti-Western and illiberal educations. We don't need more of them.

It also suggests that they're willing to deal with the thugs who dominate the suburbs. Closer to home, President Sarko will bring France closer to the US, as he's regularly decried anti-Americanism.
